Autoimmune Disease
Nicole was diagnosed with thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) which is an autoimmune disease. The disease can be fatal and the symptoms cause blood clot formation throughout tiny blood vessels throughout the body. This can then begin affecting vital organs throughout the body as their basic functioning becomes impeded. Despite the severity of the diagnosis, she had reached the hospital in time to manage the condition. Who knows what would have happened if she had left it any later...
