Keep Your Rolling Pan Clean
It is truly no fun to clean paint rollers after they have been used, which is often the reason most people would rather just throw them out and or use disposable plastic liners. however, this option is simply a waste of money and a waste of plastic.
You can simply use a piece of aluminum foil as your pan next time, or you could also opt to use foil as a pan liner and keep you rolling pan clean while using it.
Avoid Skinning Paint
Skinning paint is a common problem for anyone that enjoys the pleasures of DIY projects. Paint skinning is caused by the solidifying process. Even leaving a can of paint open for a short while can cause paint skinning, making it practically impossible to use on the next project.
To avoid skinning paint, place some foil in the paint can and blow a bit of air into the paint as you close the lid. This will prevent oxidation that causes paint skinning.
