Glazed Carrots
Carrots contain a significant amount of sugar, which is why they are so sweet. Not only do carrots contain enough sugar, but glazing carrots with sugar is really a terrible choice for your poor teeth. Perhaps the baby boomers had no concern for their teeth.
These glazed carrots are probably also boiled. Roasting or eating carrots raw is something unheard of for the baby boomers.
Creamed Corn
Corn tastes great no matter how it is cooked, but why anyone thought it needs to be mixed together with cream is unknown. We should all just forget that creamed corn ever existed.
Not only is it extremely high on calories, but baby boomers usually eat it with other foods like spam and jello and that is just wrong. A meal of span and creamed corn is also extremely bad for your health and your weight.
