Not many people know this, but replacing your shower curtain every time one gets dirty can be a hazard to your health! Most are made from PVC, which releases toxic fumes and can be detrimental to your health. So before you rush off to go buy a new one, toss it in the washing machine, preferably with a towel or two, so they can agitate each other in the wash, rubbing the curtain clean, with a cup of bicarb soda.
