We first saw Jessica Alba as the daring and youthfully gorgeous heroine in the 90s action hit show, Dark Angel. After Jessica played a few minor roles in films, Alba broke into Hollywood in earnest with roles in the Fantastic Four and Sin City. After she became a mother, she decided to put her film career on the backburner.

Here we have another Canadian beauty called Laura Vandervoort that has made a wonderful name for herself in film and television, to name a few of her successes. Perhaps her greatest victory in life was when she bravely overcame meningitis when she was just a child, despite doctors having told her parents that she had a minimal chance of making it through. Today, she is gorgeous, vibrant, and courageously vibrant.
