18. Mahira Khan
We now move to the other side of the world with the Pakistani Mahira Khan, who is something of a supernatural figure in her home country. After returning to her home country after ditching her University of Southern California degree, Khan decided that television was her destiny. After some time acting in popular soaps, Khan made it into the film scene, with Bol being one of her most celebrated roles and the film itself being one of the best performing titles in Pakistan.

17. Emilia Clarke
Game of Thrones might have ended rather disappointingly, but that does not take anything away from Emilia Clarke’s magnificent performance in the show over many years. Clarke dazzled audiences with her beauty and regal grace when she appeared in the magical television series based around the A Song of Ice and Fire novels by George R.R. Martin. She then went on to become a respectable film actress while keeping to her television origins. She is also a stunning Broadway star.
