These two lovely people have opted for a more conservative look than some festival-goers. And it’s probably a wise choice considering the heat and sun aren’t great for maintaining elaborate looks. Not to mention the fact that you really need to wear some sunscreen! Still, the more dedicated performers will be clad head-to-toe in wonderful costumes and makeup.

Burning Man Reaches Hollywood
A pop culture phenomenon, Burning Man has had a huge impact on the media. A host of TV shows have referenced the festival including Murder in the First, Malcolm in the Middle and South Park. Movies and video games hopped on the bandwagon too with references to the festival in Knocked Up and the epic game “Watch Dogs 2″. Even with all these references, it is hard to truly capture what Burning Man is unless you actually attend.
