In a heartfelt Instagram message, the famed supermodel said that she had surgery after her medical team discovered a 'basal cell carcinoma' on her face. Brinkley also shared graphic photographs of the post-surgery wound, underlining the significance of regular body checks for any strange changes as a warning to her fans. She commented, 'The good news for me is that we detected the basal cell carcinoma early. And I had wonderful doctors who removed the malignancy and sewed me up perfectly like a haute couture Dior.The good news for you is that all of this may be avoided simply being rigorous about sun protection!I became serious a little late, so for this ole mermaid/gardener, I'll be slathering on my SPF 30, reapplying as needed, wearing long sleeves and a broad brim hat.
