While most of the ladies on our list began their careers on their own steam, coming from mostly middle-class families, Miley Cyrus was born to fame thanks to her father’s huge status in the country music scene. That does not mean that Miley did not work incredibly hard for her own successes, however, as she began her on-stage career cheerleading for her soccer team, Tennessee Premiere. This was years before the Hannah Montana days!

Blake Lively, amazingly, entered the acting world when she wanted to help her parents out with the extra money. She somehow managed to balance what was already an incredibly active and fulfilling life with acting, including being a dedicated cheerleader at Burbank High School. Lively would then go on to be one of the lead roles in the iconic Gossip Girl soap, but many fans of the show had no idea that she was cheerleading in between filming episodes.
