While not a wardrobe error, this amusing error in The Mummy was not discovered by the director before it was released. Our heroes are besieged by mummies rising from the sand during the climax. They start shooting and murdering them, but viewers watch Jonathan and Ardeth switch sides around Rick in one fast take. Later, the filmmaker admitted the error, noting that during the original filming, a few shots were removed that would have revealed them moving around. However, editing the scenes made it appear as if the teleportation was from one side to the other.
