'Troy': Umbrellas
Despite a massive box office attraction, the 2004 epic Troy received mixed critical reviews. Perhaps if the writers had done a little more study, the criticism might not have been so harsh. The problem is that the Greeks didn't design this sort of umbrella until the 5th century BCE, about 800 years after Troy was conquered.

'Jonah Hex': Promiscuous Clothing
The 2010 DC Comics adaptation Jonah Hex was a box office disaster, but we can't put everything on the costume department.
