It's a very amazing guitar, although it was manufactured in 1958. The film is set in 1955, as they repeatedly emphasize.

‘Pirates Of The Caribbean’: The British Navy Was Not Scarlet
The redcoats are on their way... and a couple of decades early! Although the first Pirates of the Caribbean film is set in the 1720s, the renowned red coats were not issued to the British troops until 1747. Men still wore red, but it was a darker, less expensive shade called madder red prior to that date. Scarlet coats were only worn by officers and sergeants.
