This couple are making some essential waves within the larger Chritian community, which in some ways is doing its best to pull itself out of its homophobic past. If you are an Indie film buff, you know producers Quincy and Deondray. Life partners for many years now, they chose to exchange vows at the Grammy Awards in 2014. Queen Latifah presided and a live performance of ‘same love’ played in the background as they said their vows. This was one of the most spectacular ‘weddings’ that we have ever seen, and a true testament to the power of love and fearlessness. These are true heroes.
