Lily Tomlin and Jane Wagner
These ladies deserve our ultimate respect. These two fabulous creative and funny women have been partners for 42 years, as well as working partners for many of those years too. Lily has been a huge star since the ’60s and has known her wife Jane, a writer, director, and producer, since 1971. They finally were able to marry on New Year’s Eve 2013. These two truly are an awesome couple and have a combined contribution to the world that is hard to match.

Melissa Etheridge and Linda Wallem
Songstress Melissa is an iconic LBGT power broker and Linda is an actress/producer, most memorable being the showrunner of That 70s Show. It was then, almost 20 years ago, that she suggested that Melissa have a part on the show as the record store owner, which although didn’t quite work out, the two became friends, eventually best friends. When Etheridge went through her divorce, she asked Wallem to move in with her, as friends. Finally, the two took the plunge and had the best birthday present ever when they married in 2014, two days after both turned 53.
