An Arduous Situation

After her fainting spell in the office, Keely made an appointment to see a doctor immediately. As Keely told him her workload was high at the time, he diagnosed her fainting spell as stress-related and offered no other possible explanation for her symptoms. But it was clear to Keely that stress had little to do with her alarming symptoms. She was no stranger to dealing with work-related troubles and had no prior stress-related symptoms to speak of.

Her doctor had not persuaded Keely that work stress was the cause of her blackout.
