Thankfully, Keely's mom immediately began preparing to rush to her daughter's side, almost as soon as she got off the phone with her. Her mom flew in from Australia two days later but her dad had to stay at home. Even though there was a large time difference, he would be able to talk to her on the phone at any time. Keely now had emotional support and felt she was prepared to face the operation and recovery process.
