Famous for What?
As she came around, Keely was groggy and did not understand what was happening. She had no idea that she had spent a large part of the day at the mercy of the skill and delicacy of her specialists. She was taken back to the hospital ward as the nurses were showing her pictures of what had just been taken out of her. She felt a strange mixture of horror and relief at seeing just what had been removed from her body.

The 60-pound cyst was a third of Keely’s body weight and finally, she realized just how much the cyst had negatively impacted her life. It had taken over. She was not able to do many things that she had previously taken for granted. She had felt almost like a freak with this enormous growth that she was so desperate to hide from everyone. It was now finally time to recover and heal from this trauma.
