Who could ever forget the hit ‘80s films Gremlins and Fast Times at Ridgemont High? Phoebe Cates found fame for her incredible performances in these unforgettable films that are still enjoyed today. The star retired in 1991 and made a surprising comeback in 2001 when she appeared in The Anniversary Party! In 2005, Blue Tree, Cates’ own boutique, opened on Madison Avenue. Looking at the picture on the right of Cates, it is hard to believe that she is in her fifties.

Kirk Cameron

Kirk Cameron was nominated twice for Golden Globe Awards for his role as Mike Seaver in Growing Pains and he later went on to act in a number of television shows and films even after the show was cut. The ‘80s star is now an Evangelic church leader. Ironically, Cameron was an atheist as a teenager, turning to Christianity when he turned 17 and was working on the production of Growing Pains. It is amazing what faith can do for your longevity!
