This ‘80s star is well-known for her outstanding performance as Laura Ingalls in the hit television series Little House on the Prairie. Melissa Gilbert also starred in The Miracle Worker as well as The Diary of Anne Frank. She also worked on numerous films and it is quite surprising to know that Melissa Gilbert actually ran for the U.S. Congress during the 8th congressional district of Michigan, which not everyone knows. Even though she did win the Democratic primary, unfortunately, she gave up the race as a result of injuries that she sustained from an accident in 2012.

Pam Dawber was quite well-known as Mindy McConnel from the ‘70s and ‘80s television series Mork & Mindy. You can bet that Mork would not be much without his other half! She was also a beloved actress for her role as Samantha Russell in the television show My Sister Sam. Despite her retirement, to focus on her family, Pam Dawber will always be remembered for her fantastic contributions to the entertainment industry and she now lives a peaceful life with fellow actor Mark Harmon.
