Candid Fishing Photos That Will Make You Laugh
Tough Choice
Eric indeed won the day by making the catch. However, this does not imply that the task was easy. Selecting which of these two he wanted to be his dinner and which he wanted to keep was also quite tough for him. Either way, they are both trophies, and Eric has everything that a man could ask for. Let's just hope that he does not throw the woman into the ocean and decide that the fish was the worthier investment.
Tough Choice
Going after the little Loch Ness fishes
Victor was enthralled by the idea of heading out to get some fishes in Scotland, in the region of Loch Ness. However, he was soon to find out that there is much more in the water than these little fishes. He was dragged several meters through the sand as he did his best to dig his heels in. But it was no good, the monster was too powerful and Victor was taken under the waves to be gobbled up by the legendary creature.

Don't let the flood stop you
Fishes are bound to be present where there is a lot of water; this is the idea that this guy proceeded with. Stuck in traffic and surrounded by flowing water, what else could he do? Those that live in the drier parts of the world might be horrified to see someone casually fishing during what seems like a natural disaster. In places that experience heavy rain and flooding regularly, it seems like their populations are so used to the extreme weather conditions that they happily carry on with life as usual.
Don't let the flood stop you
Fishing through the Shallows
Humans can sometimes be outsmarted, even by fishes and this is what we see here. The fishermen had thought everything would go according to plan. But they underestimated the competition. What seems to be a catfish has successfully navigated its way safely behind enemy lines. Their positions have been exposed and this agent will proceed to report back to his fishy friends. The game is up, fellas, time to reel it in and pack up for the day.
Fishing through the Shallows
Crossing the line
Perhaps none of these people really intended to break the law and ignore the sign. Probably they journeyed from the opposite side of the bridge. They really shouldn't be blamed for crossing this line. It seems like you would need a whole riot police squad to break this scene up! We are sure that these portly fisherpeople would not go down without a fight. We are not sure how effective a fishing pole is as a weapon, though.
Crossing the line
Net That
While fishing is enjoyable, it can sometimes be dangerous as well. Why take any unnecessary risk? It is better to be protected than sorry. But we do wonder the purpose of the net on the helmet. This seems to be a combination of racketball and fishing, and the goal seems to be to swing the fish into the tiny basketball hoop. At least that is what we gathered. Everything is up for debate at this stage.
Net That
Duck Face? Fish Face
The trend of photographing with duck face poses continues. But how many of you have tried fish faces? But you will need the cooperation of a curious fish to get the perfect click. That and perfect timing of course. There are few feelings more incredible than diving with fish in the great blue ocean. But when a fish happens to photobomb you at the perfect moment, hilarity ensues. Maybe this guy should try and get more shots like this.
Duck Face? Fish Face
No Fish Here
Here, you see a group of men gathered at the lake. They do so every Saturday, hoping to catch something. But it is undoubtedly not fish that they are looking to catch. The lake has been devoid of fishes since 46'. No, their prey is far more difficult to snag than bass or trout. The red bikini-wearing bombshell, prone to magazines and long hours spent tanning, is what these dedicated fishermen do their best to capture.
No Fish Here
Forgot a fishing pole? Use a human
These friends forgot their fishing gear back at home which was at least 80 miles away. Thus, they needed an alternative. Perhaps not very effective, but their choice sure did work. Let's just hope that no one accidentally turned the boat on, as the upside-down fella might just end up feeding the fishes, and not the other way around. Here sure doesn't seem to fear any potential alligator visitors. Let's hope his hands are fast enough to actually snatch something.
Human Fishing Pole
Fishing On The Rocks
You do not just get a lot of fishes in the sea. You also get a wide array of parking spots. This is the opportunity that this guy saw. Perhaps he was looking for a free parking spot when he decided to run his boat up the rock. The sea is a treacherous mistress, filled with hidden rocky shoals that appear only when it is too late and you have just experienced a disastrous shipwreck.
Fishing On The Rocks
When Fishing Is Life
All of us treasure some things more than life. This man cherished his fishing poles. We cannot be sure that he loved fishing though, fishing poles, however, were evidently more valuable. Do you think that he might be dreaming of buying more fishing poles? We are no experts, but we think that he might have enough. We are certain that each pole is incredibly dear to him, and he can remember all the incredible adventures he went on with each.
When Fishing Is Life
Fish Flops
We certainly hope they are not actually fishes. But if these are indeed real fishes, that must make for some real smelly feet. However, this is undoubtedly a cool fish flop style statement. While we doubt that we will see these horrors being walked down a runway any time soon, there must be some fishermen out there who are crazy enough to pull this look off. You can certainly camouflage yourself with the shoals next time you go fishing!
Fish Flops
When Life Gives You Lemons
This man is optimism personified. He looks for opportunities even in most inconvenient situations. It might appear a pothole to you, but perhaps he viewed it as a playground for fishes? Life is all about perspective. What most of us see as a catastrophic sinkhole in the ground that could easily ruin someone's day, this guy sees as the perfect opportunity for some light fishing. We doubt whether he will actually catch anything edible, however.
When Life Gives You Lemons
Brought The Baby Along
Brenda was not going to let mark off the hook for hiding his previous fishing trip from her. Furthermore, he made a promise to keep the kids preoccupied. For some people, fishing is their whole life, and they would gladly take their children along on a trip. Even if that child can barely walk! We really hope that this cot is securely tied down, and that weather stays as pleasant as it seems in the picture.
Brought The Baby Along
Neck Deep
Maybe this is an idea for a new sport? It must be exciting to fish on the giraffe back, and smart too if you consider the long neck. But one has to wonder whether they can swim. We honestly thought that this man was riding a giraffe when we first looked at the picture, we are ashamed to say. Can you blame us, given how unusual this sight is? Maybe fishing off lilos is the new stealthy twist on fishing?
Neck Deep
Long Lost Brother
Tales about siblings being separated at birth only to meet years later are common. However, did you think you would ever come across a tale like this one? This guy found his brother he lost ages ago, or perhaps that is who he assumes the fish to be. Their teeth are disturbingly similar. If you can happily compare your chompers to those of a fish, maybe it is time to pay your dentist a visit.
Long Lost Brother
Noodling Gal
This is Lucy Millsap, from Texas. She won the competition of Okie Noodling Festival in 2013 by making a 72-pound catch. Previously a cheerleader, she has given it up to focus more on noodling. If you are wondering what noodling is, maybe you should brace yourself for the description. Basically, after discovering a catfish hole in a body of water, a person will then plunge their arm into the tunnel and try to haul out an enormous catfish, all barehanded.
Noodling Gal
Dry Land Fishing
We can only hope that there is water somewhere around that the camera failed to capture. This picture would otherwise make no sense. However, congratulations are in order for the big catch. We are not biologists, but we are quite certain that most fish can only survive underwater. Maybe this is some kind of sandfish that this woman is proudly unveiling to the world. No one can be sure, but we are incredibly curious nonetheless.
Dry Land Fishing
Lobster Lady
Lobster love took Candy a long way. Her love made her head to catch them, and when her hands could carry no more, she thought of other options to make sure that she did not miss out on any. When you adore lobster this much, you might be tempted to become one. Covering yourself with the large crustaceans. We would love to be as good at catching the slow-moving creatures as well as this woman can, but we appreciate her showing off in any case.
Lobster Lady
Too Bad
Not all temptations are meant to be acted on. The bridge sure seems to be the perfect place for fishing and diving but alas rules are there for a reason. While we might appreciate this bit of irony, you never know how silly people can get when it comes to bridges. This sign might just tempt people to break the rules, however. There are so many different ways to make an otherwise normal crossing a ridiculous affair.
Too Bad
Saturday Is Saturday
Sidney has been heading out to the Clark Lake every Saturday for the past 53 years for fishing. He promised himself that he would continue to do so until it was in his hands. It appears that he still had it in his hands. We have to commend this elderly gentleman for keeping to his schedule, but given that he needs assistance walking, we really hope that he does not fall over! What we are looking at is a true fishing hero.
Saturday Is Saturday
Married To The Sea
What do you think she was referring to when she proclaimed I do? Perhaps for her, it was accepting her eternal love and commitment to fishing. The girl just cannot see beyond fishing and the sea. Maybe she tied the knot with Neptune? We might never know, as this image is completely enigmatic. What we are looking at is a woman that is truly devoted to the sea, and her passion for fishing. We commend her eternal dedication to the sea and its bounty.
Married To The Sea
Sofa So Good
For Jim, his life was going sofa so good. He had all he wanted, a good company, TV, sofa and a bottle of cold beer. What more could he ask for? Jim could also catch fish and sling them straight into his cooking pot, seeing as he brought a gas stove along, too! He and Joe are having the time of their lives and we would really have to scratch our heads to think of a more pleasant way to spend the day.
Sofa So Good
50/50 Risk
Do you think it is worth the risk? While one option could land you in a pickle with a fine, the other one allows you to enjoy the beautiful day by the lake, fishing. You really just need to use your sense of judgment here. Does the second sign mark how much space you have to actually fish in? As that would mean that you have less than a meter to do your thing within. Fishermen are infamous for not following the rules, however, and we doubt that they would allow some petty signs to get in their way.
50/50 Risk
Real Reel Therapy
Did we mention how therapeutic fishing is? So this boat stays true to its name. All you need is spend a day on the lake with some dinner and relax. While we would never persuade you to take up a fishing pole rather than go for proper therapy if you feel like you need it, a day out on the waves with nothing but your buddies, the fish, and a few beers, is guaranteed to take the edge off.
Real Reel Therapy
New Level Fishing
If you want to become the ultimate fisherman, this level is the one you should aspire to reach. Bringing the truck to the back might be a lot of effort but if you happen to find it there, why not put it to good use? This might just take the award for 'Most Dedicated Act of Fishing'. We have seen people go to great lengths to catch fish, but dragging a titanic construction vehicle onto the shore just to reel a few fish in is a totally different story.
New Level Fishing
Cat Fish
So the story seems pretty straightforward. The fisherman makes his way into the water for the fish while the cats are standing waiting by the shore. The cats have surely gotten the perfect deal. The fisherman, on the other hand, we are not sure. These two old chaps might think twice of denying this small army their fishy treats. Cats can be unpredictable, and although the fishermen might have the upper hand given that they are in the water, we know a cat or two that would do anything for a fish!
Cat Fish
It's Personal
This might be just the thing for those wanting to head out by themselves. One can also refer to it as their personal boat if they want to, that is. If it can float, has a chair, and it has a propeller, then you, my friend, are in business! Why waste thousands of dollars on an expensive boat when you could easily make your own out of bits and bobs? We hope that the most dangerous thing in this river are ducks, or this guy is in for it.
It's Personal
Almost Got It Right
Taking the boat out to the river and then letting it in halfway for release were the instructions they got, and they did get it right. Well almost, right considering they were facing the opposite side. Someone should have told this guy that your car is supposed to take your boat into the water, and not the other way around. Maybe he can find a way to drag his car out using the propeller of his boat?
Almost Got It Right
This Is The Life
Billy did not care what was going on. He wanted a swim, some fishing time and a beer. Now that the river made it easy by coming to him, he decided not to let go of the perfect opportunity. This is like the Inception of water... a pool within a lake... We love the color difference between the lake water and the pool's. Somehow, we cannot help but feel like the crystal clear water of the pool seems far more inviting than the murky grey one of the river.
This Is The Life
Mermaid Friendly
It is essential for dogs to be aware of how to prevent their humans from getting out of control and breaking off the leash so this is pretty cool. What makes it even more amazing is that the feathers and gills get to swim to their heart’s content. Whoever made this sign realized one of life's most important lessons: that dogs are better behaved than humans. Dogs will always do their best to stay on their master's good side, and will not try to raise heck.
Mermaid Friendly
His And Hers
Have you wondered how a perfect couple would like? Here is your answer. He gives her the time to catch up with her friends while she lets him enjoy his fishing time. This surely seems to be one happy couple enjoying their day on the river. Marriage means compromise, and a hobby as involving and time-consuming as fishing that takes men away from their wives for so long sometimes needs to bend to said spouses' needs.
His And Hers
The Vikings Are Back
You might think that everything has changed over the past few years. However, some things remain the same including the fishing of Vikings. Perhaps there is a slight difference in their shields, but one still has got to admire them. A few hundred years ago, a sight like this would cause villagers to run in terror. We doubt that these guys will inspire anything but laughter, unless you are a fish, of course. These Vikings are about to scoop up a whole bunch of fish for the feast!
The Vikings Are Back
Fly Fishing
This man has certainly got it right with fly fishing. This is just how he believes it should be done and he has made us a believer for sure. He fishes as he flies, actually, he fly-fishes. It seems like this guy hooked a real monster, one that was beyond his skill and his strength, and it is about to take him on a tour of the ocean that money cannot buy. We hope that he resurfaced eventually!
Fly Fishing
Don't Catch Anything
How does the bathroom of a fisherman stand distinguished among the rest? You will find some reel evidence right next to the toilet. Not going fish is the key in this case. This must be the most creative usage we have seen for an old fishing rod reel and we commend whoever came up with this ingenious bathroom fitting. Let's just hope that there aren't any hooks still attached to the reel, otherwise, some poor fisherman is in for a taste of his own medicine in the most horrifying way imaginable!
Don't Catch Anything
No Pole
Maybe the fish thought it was being a tease when it decided to swim to Tom's boat, escaping the fishing hook. However, this time, Tom decided to give it the perfect lesson by providing a hand to the fish. Sometimes, you need to ditch modern fishing technology and go for some good old-fashioned elbow grease to get the job done. This guy is certainly working for his trophy! We would take our hats off to him if his wasn't falling off already.
No Pole
Man Overboard
All of us, at some point, have had our share idea of brilliant ideas. Most of us learn the lesson the hard way. This guy must have understood his plan was not that brilliant after all rather quickly. It seems like this guy was made to walk the plank after he forgot to bring the beers on the fishing trip. You might not believe that this kind of barbaric practice is still around today, but it seems like the historic pirates constructed their planks better.
Man Overboard
Very Practical
If you go out on fishing expeditions all too often, you would remember to keep your measuring tape with you at all times. However, this guy had a knack for forgetting his. He thus thought of an alternative. Tattooing a fish size measure on your leg is only for the most hardcore fishers. We wonder how far up his leg this ruler goes, and if he would need to take his pants off if he caught anything bigger than his calf.
Very Practical
Creativity At Its Best
If there is one thing that one must never forget taking with him on a fishing trip, it is the bait. But this man decided to make do with what was available and made a bait device that would put geniuses to shame. Perhaps the fishies would mistake these bottlecaps for delicious clams? Or maybe the reflection of the light off their metallic surfaces would attract curious biters. We are going to stick with worms, for now, thank you very much.
Creativity At Its Best
Bird's Nest
If you have ever been in a similar experience, you must be aware of just how annoyed and frustrated one can get in this situation. You endeavor to release the line, and you end up with a bird's nest. This guy cannot believe that he suffered such a rookie mistake after so many years of fishing. His friends do not seem to mind, however, and we can clearly hear the raucous laughter behind the camera.
Bird's Nest
Taking Advantage
Gary thought fishing with friends would be perfect. Despite their reluctance, he pressured them to take him along. They finally gave in and agreed to have him tag along, just like he wanted. But their odd stares and sniggers both vanished the moment that his unusual technique began paying off. Suddenly, Gary began slinging multiple fish in, two at a time, and before long he was sitting on a mound of prized trophies. Never judge a fisherman by his pose!
Taking Advantage
First Catch
While David had plenty of experience with fishing, Danny was out for the first time. He was looking forward to hanging by the water with the fresh air rustling by as he feasted on the delicious treats. However, when David caught a fish, everything got out of hand. We love how suspiciously this anxious-looking pooch is eyeing the fish. We generally see dogs having the time of their lives while going on fishing trips, but not this hound!
First Catch
No Matter What
Timmy loved fishing more than anything. Nothing would stop him from heading out to the lake for fishing every Sunday. No circumstances could thwart him. Throwing caution to the wind, he was ready to catch some fishes. Any true fisherman knows that nothing can halt a solid fishing session, not even nature's call. You just need to pull your pants down and get on with it. You never know what you could miss out on if you allow decency to get in the way!
No Matter What
What Did He Catch?
Fishing for compliments is not unheard of, but this is different. However, the boy deserves praise for his choice of bait. All of us know the effect of a dollar. We have no idea what kind of toilet-dwelling creatures this boy was fishing for, or why they would be tempted to leave the safety of the bowl for money. Perhaps there is some secret underworld market that the toilet creatures spend their free time browsing?
What Did He Catch?
Look Twice
This is one funny photo that will make you look at it twice. At first glance, it appears as though a man has managed to catch a fish which has a little man standing on it. The second glance would tell you that's not what is happening. Optical illusions are commonplace on drawn-out fishing trips where people stand for long hours in the sun. At some stage, it can become difficult to tell the difference between reality and hallucination.
Look Twice
Not Quite
Maybe this guy needs to learn a thing or two about fishing, the whole of it. He seems to have gotten the hang of catching the fish but needs a crash course on what needs to be done afterward. That should prevent him from using his gun. He seems to be compensating for how small his fish is by pulling out his pistol. This is a common tactic for men with inferiority complexes, but please try to respect the relaxing and stress-free code of the fisherman!
Not Quite
Human Fishing
The question one is bound to ask with this one is who made the catch? Well, the answer is still unknown to us, but we know one thing for sure. This picture is hilarious. Some of the more intrepid and daring fishermen around do not need fishing rods to get the job done. They will happily swim about in a lake at great speeds, seizing the biggest fish that they can find. You should try it some time!
Human Fishing
No Worries
This is the only idea that the group had, that they would have no problems. However, when the boat went down, they realized that things would not go as planned and they did have some worries on their plate. You are virtually asking for trouble when you name your boat 'Now Worries' as mother nature has a cruelly ironic sense of humor. Hopefully, the owner had insurance, otherwise, things are about to get even more worrying.
No Worries
Ice Fishing
Maybe this is how a little child views ice fishing. Are you wondering whether the fish is still alive? It does seem to be like a throwback to Austin Powers! When you spot a perfectly preserved fish in the ice, you might be tempted to saw it out. Once this poor fish is thawed out of his icy tomb then he will be ready to be fried with some lemon and rosemary for a perfect Inuit dinner!
Ice Fishing
Getting Stuck In
How long do you think it has been since the guy is fishing? We would think it has been a bit too long considering the melting of the ice cap he parked his truck on. This is why; taking trucks to the ice is not a really good idea. All manner of disasters can occur when fishing on the ice, especially when you take an incredibly heavy truck onto precariously thin ice sheets. Maybe take a bicycle next time!
Getting Stuck In
Catch And Then Caught
Sylvia could not believe it when she made her first catch. She adjusted her sunglasses, smiling as she posed for the camera. And at that precise moment, the captured fish decided it did not like the idea of being photographed as much as Sylvia did. It seems like she took far too long trying to pose for the perfect Instagram snap and this furious fish had reached the end of his patience. Let's hope that he didn't slap her in the face with his tail, too!
Catch And Then Caught
All The Help He Could Get
There are quite a few problems you might have to face when you are out fishing alone. Thus, fishermen with their innovation endeavor to make the best use of their surroundings and acquire maximum benefits. This is what this gentleman can be seen doing. If this guy is doing his best to escape the enormous stag, he seems to be doing a terrible job. The stag foes not seem that troubled by his presence, however, watching him with mild curiosity.
All The Help He Could Get
Lunch In 5,4,3...
This sure was an incredible catch. It makes for the perfect catch if you are looking for an early lunch. However, one is bound to wonder, who would be the lunch? The best part about this picture is how pleased the fisherman seems with his catch, seemingly oblivious to the behemoth of a bear approaching him. His face seems like he is about to ask for a bite, but whether he will be snacking on human or seafood is up for debate.
Lunch In 5,4,3...
He Caught The Most
Do you think that you have to be in the water to get maximum catches? This man proves you wrong. He managed to make the most catches compared to all his friends. An applause-worthy feat for sure. This guy must be commended for his selfless environmental efforts. Fishing this many cans out of a lake is no small feat, and must have been incredibly tiring, so we will let him off the hook for catching a quick snooze.
He Caught The Most
Last Man Standing
Tony was warned by all his friends about the increasing temperature. But he refused to pay heed as his focus was on making the ultimate catch. Experiencing global warming was not going to stop him. This picture reminds us of those tragic National Geographic snaps showing a lonesome Polar Bear floating on a small sheet of ice. Finally, humans get a taste of the effects of global warming! We hope that this was an eye-opening experience for this drilling maniac.
Last Man Standing
Getting Ahead
Sometimes, waiting for your friends can be a tough feat. So you decide to go ahead and dive in, with your head first. If you think iced tea is what gives one brain freeze, this is definitely something you should try. There might be easier and less extreme ways to refresh oneself, but nothing beats plunging your head into a frozen lake. Maybe this guy needed to catch a cold quickly to get out of dinner with his parents-in-law.
Getting Ahead
Catch Of The Day
Fishermen will sometimes hook the strangest of objects. Lost trinkets, dropped treasures, and sometimes even people who took a long walk off a short pier! As for cars, however, this perhaps among the rarer things that fishermen discover in the water. Well, we have to give this fellow kudos for the effort. Hopefully, the proper emergency services arrived with something stronger than a fishing rod to eventually yank his sunken vehicle out of the shallows.
Catch Of The Day
When You Show Up Early
Wonder what happens when you arrive early for a meeting, way too early. This photo tells you just that. Being early is not a problem. Having no pants on though is a different story. We appreciate how seriously the guy on the left takes his job. Carrying your work briefcase with you everywhere shows how committed you are to your craft. If the desire to do some impromptu accounting ever springs up, this guy is totally prepared.
When You Show Up Early
Mom Look What I Caught
Fishing is just not the right thing for some kids out there. This beautiful little kid was not given a fishing pole but a fishing net. He did not appreciate this and let his displeasure be known to his dad. Thank goodness no one gave him a fishing pole, however, as the results may not have been so hilarious if he purposefully hooked his father. At least he is showing the right amount of spirit that every young fisherman needs.
Mom Look What I Caught
Breakfast With A View
Who doesn't like to start their day with a mouthwatering breakfast while enjoying a beautiful sight? Throwing in some fishing would be like a cherry on the cake. A long day of fishing cannot be accomplished without a healthily balanced breakfast, and when you wade deep into a lake, you need to improvise. Hopefully, he also has a kettle nearby and has a floating coffee station handy, too. Enjoy your sandwich, bud, and have a productive trip!
Breakfast With A View
An Underwater Expedition
We confess we have not really seen or heard about fishing underwater, but maybe it's a new trend that hasn't caught on yet. This guy can make a business out of this by establishing a tour company. Fishing with the fish would be a good name. This would surely be a profitable venture. It would be up to the company to provide the customers with everything they need including an oxygen tank, diving suit, flippers, and the fishing gear. We do wonder how successful in his endeavor this man was. Hopefully, he did not end up being a feast for some sea creature like a shark.
An Underwater Expedition
Something Fishy
Maybe no one informed her that one has to get home before they feast on the dish. And that the fish is to be cooked first. The photo does give a not-so-good feeling especially when we think about the smell. Wonder how much brushing of teeth would this little event have required. White water river rafting is an extreme sport, and you can never tell just what is going to fly at you when things get seriously bouncy.
Something Fishy
Uh Oh!
Consider the situation when you wanted to spend the day with your beautiful wife, soaking in the sun as you fish. Everything is going according to the plan, and you think that nothing could spoil this day. But out of nowhere, you go overboard. It cannot be said what made the man fall off his boat, face first. However, one thing is sure; no one including his wife saw that coming. Her surprised look is sufficient to tell us this. And it is indeed lucky or unlucky that someone decided to take a click at this precise moment. We are not suggesting anything of course.
Uh Oh!
Sleeping on the Job
Fishing can be strenuous and a tad bit boring. We think these two had not realized how exhausted they would be after spending hours out in the sun. They must have gotten the epiphany that day. It is unlikely that they were very successful with fishing that day though. Perhaps next time they should try staying awake to respond to the tug? These guys are not just napping, they seem to have fallen into deep slumbers!
Sleeping On The Job
Sewer Fishing
Fishing can be practiced just about everywhere, and this is what this guy wanted to prove. He might not have made some great catches in the sewer system, but he did get to brush up his skills. We do wonder how long the bait survived. The rats must have feasted on it ages ago. If you are a passionate fisherman and you live far away from any sizeable bodies of water, in the heart of a busy city, you need to get creative to scratch that fishing itch.
Sewer Fishing
Top of the Food Chain
It is not often that you get to see seagulls fishing so this does make for a cool sight. The cute fisherman hat is a bonus. The seagull decided that trying to make a catch flying around is tough. He thus decided to use rods for fishing while giving his wings a much-needed break. Well, he cannot be blamed for wanting to catch a break. This seems like a natural progression for seagulls, wouldn't you think?
Top Of The Food Chain
Someone Got Caught
We certainly expect the guy to be holding his nose throughout the duration when this picture was being taken. What else could stop the smell? It appears that the fisherman ended up being on the opposite end of the line and got caught instead of making a catch. We think it only fair that sometimes the fisherman should be eaten by the fish, and not the other way round. This does not make it any less of a horrifying scene, however!
Someone Got Caught
This Is My Territory
You do not want to mess with gators. They deal with anyone who comes in their water seriously. This guy would reaffirm this. He had expected to have a relaxing day by the water and instead ended up living a nightmare. He must not have ever pressed on the gas faster ever. This is what we would do. Some fishermen will happily risk their lives for the catch of the day, but we would strongly reconsider going anywhere with gators.
This Is My Territory
Sewer Fishing Gone Wrong
We cannot help but wonder what these two were up to. We can only guess what an interesting date they must have enjoyed in the sewers. Or perhaps this is a secret passageway that connects their homes. But actually, the boy wearing blue is a professional fisherman of the sewer system who has successfully caught a largemouth bass. In our opinion, his friend would not be going on any more fishing expeditions with him. Perhaps, something like soccer would be a better option?
Sewer Fishing Gone Wrong
“Fly” Fishing
It seems that southwest Pacific people have some great ideas about fishing. This man from New Caledonia decided that he did not need regular fishing tools. A long stick was enough for him. Just wait for the right moment before taking a long-running jump and then plunge your spear into the heart of your prey! This is just pure awesomeness in our opinion, and we would love to give it a try if it didn't end with a painful belly flop.
“Fly” Fishing
Bass Pro
Manabu Kurita from Kyoto, Japan managed to catch a bass weighing 22 pounds and 4 ounces in 2009. The average weight of bass is around 12pounds. We must applaud this fisherman's skills! We would probably struggle to hold a monster that big up, not to mention wrestling with it for what must have been a drawn-out and intense reeling! If this guy did not release the monstrous bass then he would have enough meat to open up a fish and chips joint that very day.
Bass Pro
“Big Uglies”
Have you ever considered a possibility wherein you manage to catch a 180-pound fish? We cannot, but these three guys managed to attain the feat wherein each of them ended up with one such fish in the summer of 2014. They were fishing along the southern coast of California during the time. These are moonfish, also referred to as opah fishes. They certainly seem to be about as big as the moon, and only the most experienced and strongest of fishermen could reel in leviathans like these!
“Big Uglies”
It’s A Numbers Game
This guy seems to have everything under control. We do hope that he managed to keep his mouth closed. This might not have had the ending he expected. If he managed to make it through, however, you can bet that he would have several sacks' worth of fishes by the end. Sardine runs are a sight to behold, and despite only occurring annually, when they do then you will see plenty of brave souls wading out like this hero pictured.
It’s A Numbers Game
One Fish, Two Fish, Redfish…
Marvel at what you at the water. Plenty of fishes and that too redfish can be seen. This hub of fishes was discovered near Fernandina Beach, near Jacksonville, in Florida by two fishermen. This takes care of dinner for a long time. These two fellows struck a veritable goldmine when their boat came across this dramatic and highly profitable scene. We just hope that they left some for the rest of us! This was certainly their combined fishing careers' highlight!
