Bad Rep
Chris and Mariesa were on a mission to help Pit Bulls, mainly due to the fact that they had such a horrible reputation. However, they knew better, and so they dedicated a large portion of their lives to helping dogs in need. It is mainly due to the fact that so many pit bulls are bred for fighting that they get this reputation. Despite their determination, and effort to rescue helpless dogs, nothing could have prepared them for what they were about to face.

A Love for Dogs, A Love for One Another
During an interview, Mariesa revealed some of her previous relationship struggles and described how her love for animals had ruined many of her relationships. It turns out, most of the men Mariesa had dated were not willing to endure what it took in order to provide a loving home for rescues. This is no small issue if you are not on the same page as Mariesa, and it is a huge and involving commitment for anyone.
