This 82-year-old legend is one of the last surviving stars of the beloved television show Gilligan’s Island. Her role as Mary Ann Summers is where her fame is based and not everyone knows this, but Dawn Wells was Miss Nevada in the year 1959. She also went on to take part in the Miss America pageant and impressively, she was accepted to the prestigious Columbia to study in medicine, proving that she is both beauty and brains. Even though this star is no longer performing, she teaches acting classes and takes part in numerous theatre productions. Dawn Wells is also the owner of a clothing line especially suited for disabled individuals named The Wishing Wells Collections, which showcases her compassionate heart.
