JIMMY LYDON, 97 YEARS OLD
While most famous names found their success through a passion for fame, Jimmy Lydon simply wanted to provide for his family. The 97-year-old legend was born of Irish Catholic descent in New York and he suffered an unfortunate childhood with an alcoholic father. However, Jimmy Lydon found success in the entertainment industry by starting his career in Broadway and later went on to act in numerous hit television shows and films. He also co-created the TV series M*A*S*H alongside Gene Reynolds.
CAREN MARSH-DOLL, 101 YEARS OLD
This 101-year-old star is also one of the last few remaining actresses of the Silent Film era and she is not just an actress but also an outstandingly talented dancer. Caren Marsh-Doll is well-known for playing Judy Garland’s dance double in the beloved film The Wizard of Oz as well as Ziegfeld Girl. The beloved star survived a plane crash in 1949 and almost lost her foot to amputation as a result, although, she was lucky to have made a full recovery after doctors found a way to heal her injuries and she was surprisingly able to dance again despite the tragic accident.
