Debbie Dobbins ventured early into a fitness career, starting an aerobics class right after she finished college that was a great success for an impressive 7 full years. The fitness fanatic then moved to Los Angeles and started became a model for fitness magazines. She also did promotional videos and went on to become an NFL cheerleader. Debbie competed in the 1993 Ms.Fitness USA competition and placed third.

In 1993, Debbie Dobbin’s impressive career ended when she was passed out tragically from smoke inhalation in a house fire. The premature death of the fitness star was an extreme shock to all who loved her and in 1994, an episode of Hard Copy suggested suspicions of the star was ultimately murdered. Despite the speculations never being confirmed, Debbie Dobbins impact on the fitness community will never be forgotten.
