Bottom line: Allen made his NBA debut in 2017 following a great freshman period within Texas. His initial two seasons within the NBA were a good showcase of his skill, within both court sides.
Allen is a scoring machine, hitting the high double-digits, as well as a competent rim-protector. The defense he provides is what defines him as such an indispensable addition to any team. The control and distance he maintains to deflect shots require better recognition.
The spring chicken deserves acknowledgment for his high upside.
