If you thought that Ukrainians would have a thing for blue eyes and blonde hair, guess again, as incredibly sharp cheekbones and black hair are in fashion. The thinner and paler that a woman is, the higher that she ranks on the desirability meter. This was not always the beauty norm, however, as plus-sized women were almost worshipped before the 20th century. Ukrainians would rather that their women stay away from plastic surgeons, as they accept and love their women just as they are.
