Dust-Free Mosquito Screens
A mosquito screen has a specific job… the name is pretty much self-explanatory. Usually, they do a pretty good job at fulfilling their intended purpose, but they also have a habit of accumulating dust (not exactly great for the thing that wraps around your bed at night!). To avoid this, spray a little WD-40 on a cloth and give those screens a wipe. You might be shocked to see how much unsettling debris comes out of the fine mesh, but it is well worth the effort.

So many of us have beautiful brass or gold ornaments or some lovely jewelry that now looks like it is losing its charm. But before you give up on them and put them in the back of a drawer somewhere, just give them a little wipe with some WD-40 and you will see the charm return along with its shine, as well as preventing dust from accumulating in the future. Who knows, you might just release a jolly purple man that sounds suspiciously like Robin Williams.
