Talented figure skater Nancy Kerrigan made headlines in 1994 when she was attacked by a rival figure skater Tonya Harding. Despite the trauma of the incident she recovered well and did not give up. Her son, Matthew Eric Solomon, has not shown any interest in the sport but has however displayed an incredible talent for costume design which he has pursued as a career.
