Minnie Ripperton – Maya Rudolph (at 29 Years Old)
Best known for her 70’s hit single Lovin’ You from the album Perfect Angel, Minnie Riperton’s amazing five-octave coloratura soprano range has led the media to hail her as the queen of the whistle register. At the young age of 7, Maya Rudolph lost her mother to breast cancer and although she is not a singer like her mom she certainly inherited her fantastic stage presence portrayed in her hilarious comedy acts. She did her mother very proud.
