Jonathan Gilbert

Jonathan was a child actor who gained his fame in the “Little House On The Prairie” TV show in the mid-’80s. He is the adopted son of actors Barbara Cowen and the late Paul Gilbert who according to Jonathan’s sister Melissa, took his own life after suffering extreme constant pain. Both his sisters were child actors and are still acting today (Melissa and Sara Gilbert). Jonathan quit acting in his early 20’s and moved to NYC. He played his character, Willie Olsen, from 1974 to 1983 and Jimmy in “The Miracle Worker” movie in 1979 before deciding to leave Hollywood for good.

Melissa Sue Anderson

Melissa began her on-screen career in different TV commercials. Her big break was as Mary Ingalls in NBC’s TV show “Little House On The Prairie” from 1974-1981. As the show ended, Melissa appeared in other movies and TV shows. In 2007 she became a Canadian citizen and published a retrospective book about her days as Mary in “The Little House”.
