"It’s probably the most amazing thing because you think it’s the end of the road, now here we are with two beautiful children,” Kevin said. The couple knew that it was all thanks to the help of Lianna’s selfless act.

Kevin and Nicole were certain of no better candidates for the twins as godparents than Shawn and Lianna who had given them the gift of a lifetime of love and joy that would not otherwise have been possible. "I don’t have a sister, but I’d consider her like that. We don’t hold back, we are open, honest, and I am constantly turning to her for guidance,” Nicole explained how Lianna had given her the gift of becoming a mother.

While Kevin and Nicole were finally able to become parents after years of heartbreak, they decided that the blessing of surrogacy was the light in their lives and as a result, they are now advocates for surrogacy. "We are happy that our story went public to help others in the time of need,” Kevin explained just how much the solution changed their lives forever. The couple has been so open and honest about the trying journey that led them towards the solution of surrogacy and they were fortunate enough to have had a happy ending.

No Regrets
The couple may have had an extremely long and difficult road before Lianna was able to offer them a solution. However, the happy parents insist that they would not have changed anything as they have absolutely no regrets. In the end, the heartbreak was all worth it. "There are people out there, like Lianna, that will do it out of kindness. It’s easier to find them than it seems. It’s never the end of the road,” Nicole said. The couple continues to advocate surrogacy.
