Next up we have California ranking in 4th out of 50 states for obesity. Almost one-quarter of the majority in the surfer state satisfies the obesity requirements. A 12.7% standard obesity rate covers the young Californian adults, with those aged 18 to 25. As for the older population, we have 24% of those aged between 26 and 44, 31% of those aged 45 to 64, and 24.4% of people older than 65 years being obese. Thankfully, California does not need to add obesity to its range of alarming issues.

50.Massachusetts – 25.2% Obesity Rate
We now dial things back by a moderate percentage with Massachusetts’ 25.2% obesity rate. 2015 saw a satisfying obesity rate drop within the state that launched a successful campaign for health. This involved health officials promoting the cleanliness and benefits of drinking water while ensuring that public institutions were feeding employees and students correctly and that everyone was on board with exercise. This is the ideal recipe for a healthy and active lifestyle, but it can only work if the target markets are enthusiastic about it and willing to participate.
