Even though the couple knew that Storie and her puppies would be expanding their dog family to well over 10 dogs, Mariesa could not find it in her heart to leave Storie behind. She wanted to give the Pit Bull the loving home that she so desperately needed. You might think that having so many dogs would make parting with just one an easy experience, but that was not how it worked with Mariesa. Thankfully, all hope was not lost! Chris had a great idea.

Luckily, Chris had the ideal solution for their future problems. Chris made the brilliant suggestion that they would foster Storie and her puppies until the shelter could find permanent homes for each of them. They had the room and resources to spare, and had plenty of experience in helping dogs deliver their puppies. They were confident that they could handle this situation. However, there was another problem, why was Storie overdue and unable to give birth to her puppies?
