Unless you are an athlete who needs a sudden jolt of energy, you should not be enjoying energy bars because they are packed with calories and they also contain a large amount of sugar. In addition to these fat causing ingredients, they are also loaded with fructose corn syrup, preservatives, and deadly trans fats that your body will not appreciate in the slightest! Energy bars are among the worst sugary treats to snack on.
